Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day!! I'm having a wonderful day with my family. Wish all mothers a wonderful day too :)
It has been a very busy month with school and work. Also I've noticed that my kids had grown so fast just right before my eyes!!! And it makes me very happy!
My dog has grown so much, now Lucas is 3 months!!! Wow !! He is such a handsome dog!
This picture made me laugh and I want you to check this out; the other day I went to Buffalo Wild Wings and I've noticed this lovely Coach purse (this is a hot trend in San Antonio), so well I think they are making good profit of investing in one of this, so they place it inside of this coin machine!! I wonder who will win this purse!!
So, here is my final project for the coffee label. Two weeks ago we printed the project and even our teacher let us go early so we could have time to trim it, and place it in the can and in the mounting crescent. Well, I didn't do anything during all that time.
Finally Friday arrived, and I haven't done ANYTHING!! I think that I spent too much time on social sites (facebook and myspace). Then on Friday night we went to watch "Iron Man 2" (the fact of watching Robert Downey Jr shirtless for less than 2 minutes made me postpone my project), then we went to Sherlock's for a drink (yeah just one!! because I had to come back home "Sober" to finish my work)...Then at midnight I had to run back home to keep working on my project (Why me?)...at almost 2 am!
Trimming the wrong printed page
For not being paying attention to specifics, I trimmed the wrong one for the can, the other one with the pantones on the side, and then I ended up mounting it in the crescent.
I didn't noticed that until my teacher made that point out right in the critique, (ups I did it again!), so well next time I won't rush with my projects (I always keep saying that!) and I'll re read my briefs before start doing dumb stuff.
I loved this design, but well, in the critique my teacher told me that It would be better if I remove the lady from the can (well I like it with the lady on it) and well I had some other appreciable feedback from my "colleagues" like my professor keeps saying all the time.

Project Mounted!!!
So I ended up finishing my project at almost 4:00 am, but well now I learned the lesson for the next time!!
I would like to thank my sister Erika who gave me this wonderful book of my favorite rock band The Rolling Stones on my birthday, I love this present very much!!!
Thanks a lot for reading my blog :)Wish you a great weekend!!!
