Back to School :)

I just started my second semester, and came back from long vacations so I was not able to write anything on my blog :(.

Now I'm back, fresh, renovated and with super cool new ideas and 100% motivated and committed to have good grades this semester. After having good grades last semester, I have to keep up the grades the same, or even better.

So well here are some of the first drawing that I started doing in my drawing class, they are so basic, but this is the first time that I draw in such big space and with charcoal (yeah the black chalk), and it is something brand new to me.  Also, we were working on contours and negative space.

So my first project was to draw a shoe and a plant, it was kind of fun seeing this cute things in large size. Here is my first negative space drawing.  I feel kind of dumb because at the beginning didn't understand the specifications for the project and I was totally missing to make a drawing for the class and another for presentation, so I was "double dipping" the same artwork, ups sorry!

My project # 2 will be about the drawing of negative space of 7 items combined with man-made and organic, seems easy, but its actually so hard to work with.

My professor is very cool and I learn a lot with her lecture, I know that sometimes I always miss some clarification in how to do the assignments, but I got to read read read before I jump into it :)
