Moving To California

Hello! I haven't been able to write for almost 6 months, and the reason is because I decided to move to California.  After months and months of thinking if this could be a good idea, and leave my beloved Texas, I just decided I had to just do it and see how it goes.  I firmly believe that changes are for good, regardless that I may struggle a bit in the beginning, have my homesick time and miss all the good friends and times I've spent in Texas; It was just about time to move to start brand new in the West Coast. It was painful to leave my family, my best friend, my job, my apartment, my art room, my kiti kat (she moved with my son), friends and places I used to go out.  But it was a moment in my life when I decided to leave the past behind, and literally I packed my stuff in my car, spent 3 days in the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona, and take me all the way to California.  

I will now attend my last 2 years of college in California, and hopefully things go well and graduate from my Bachelors degree on time.  I will have to take about 3 more core, but I'm more than ready to start this Fall 2013.

Here are some pictures of my trip from Texas to California in 3 days.  I stayed at the Fairfield Marriot in El Paso, TX; and then at Springhill in Phoenix, Arizona.  God bless those days in the desert, it was so hot! I got a thorn on my heel for been wearing sandals in Arizona! This was my first long trip driving. Thank God I made it!
